The sole basis for our belief is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it speaks.  As the Bible teaches, there is only one God, who has been made known to us as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit who lives in the hearts of believers today.  God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to have a relationship with Him. Salvation comes only through God’s grace – not human effort.

Jesus Christ, the way that God revealed Himself to us in flesh, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between God and us. Jesus made a promise to return for His church one day, and we believe that His return is soon.

God's plan of salvation for each one of us is the same as it was when the church began on the Day of Pentecost.  We must come to Him with faith, repent of our sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of our sins, and be filled with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.  Then a wonderful life of discipleship begins, in which we are learning about God and following His plan for our lives.
